Earlier this month, internationally renowned chefs came together for a great cause. The second annual Cooking For A Cure event, presented by the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and The Young Scientist Foundation was held October 10 at the Cleveland Museum of Art.
Cooking for a Cure is an interactive and tasty chef-to-table food and wine experience featuring gourmet dishes and wine pairings. Some of the chefs included Cleveland's own Jonathon Sawyer, Douglas Katz and Rocco Whalen, along with Chef Floyd Cardoz of New York City and Chef Sheila Lucero of Denver, Colorado.
Brennan was proud to be a Diamond Sponsor of Cooking for a Cure, which directly supports the young scientists of tomorrow, by placing primarily underserved Cleveland-area high school students in Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine laboratories where they will have the opportunity to work alongside world-class researchers. This unique partnership between the university and The Young Scientist Foundation provides budding researchers with tools and skills to discover the cures of the future for cancer and other diseases.
